We're pleased to announce a new product, Desktop Single Signon, that we started shipping last week. Desktop Single Signon allows your PeopleSoft users to connect in to PeopleSoft via their Windows login. Once someone logs in to Windows, then they won't see a PeopleSoft signon screen again.

We had heard from several folks out there that had read our blog entry about PeopleSoft and single signon from awhile ago found it interesting, but they were looking for something productized that they could put into their environment.

This was also something that has come up from talking with our current customers about some of the reporting challenges that they face. We've productized solutions to a number of PeopleSoft reporting challenges, but ease of access for a casual user base came up on a regular basis.

Also, just a quick note on product scope. The first version supports browser based desktop single signon, but we're already working on single signon for the reporting design tools (PS/Query, PS/nVision, Crystal Report Designer, Tree Manager) as well as the development tools (Application Designer, Data Mover, even Definition Security!).
